SERVICE IN PRACTICE / PROJECT DELIVERY
Mixing Tank
Project
From design, through production,
installation and testing
Large-batch mixing for shampoo and other emulsions, with vacuum capability, transfer between three vessels and a separate CIP system.
LARGE-BATCH MIXING / ONSITE INSTALLATION
Three big tanks
One connected system
A complete mixing installation for shampoo and other emulsions. The people working around the equipment give a practical sense of its size.
From the shared platform to the drives beneath the vessels, installation brings the full system together.
Mixing capacities are per vessel, per batch, and stated by mass.
Vacuum capability
Vacuum pump equipment allows the vessels to be evacuated during processing.
Move liquid between tanks
Separate transfer pumps allow liquid to be transferred between the three vessels.
A separate CIP system
A separate CIP system with a capacity of 10 metric tons provides clean-in-place cleaning for the connected equipment.(22,046 lb capacity)
FROM THE FIRST MEETING TO THE COMPLETED INSTALLATION
One project
Nine connected steps
Follow the project from the first requirements meeting to the completed installation, with photographs of the factory build, shipment and onsite work.
- 01
Understand the requirements
Meet with the customer to understand the project scope, product requirements and what the system needs to do.
Reviewing the customer’s requirements and project scope - 02
Develop the design
Prepare the product specifications and design drawings to match the customer’s requirements. Plan the vessels, platform and connected equipment together.
The 3D arrangement developed around the project requirements - 03
Put the plan into production
Start equipment production after the plan is confirmed. The large stainless steel vessels take shape before final assembly.
The large vessels during production - 04
Factory acceptance
Once production and assembly are complete, the project moves to onsite factory acceptance testing (FAT), before packing and transportation.
Factory acceptance after production and assembly - 05
Pack, load and transport
After acceptance, protect the equipment, load the large assemblies and prepare the shipment for its journey to the customer’s factory.
Lifting the protected vessels onto the transport frame The protected equipment loaded for shipment Protection and loading of the large tank assemblies The equipment prepared for transportation - 06
Deliver to the destination factory
Receive the vessels and supporting equipment at the customer’s facility, ready for handling and onsite assembly.
Arrival at the destination factory - 07
Handle and position the equipment
Move the large vessels, head assemblies and supporting equipment into place on the factory floor.
Moving the vessel into its installation position Handling the vessel head and drive assembly Bringing the supporting equipment into place - 08
Assemble at the site
Bring the vessels, heads, drives and shared platform together. Complete the fitting and connection work around the system.

Complete the installation
The three-vessel system, shared access platform and connected equipment are assembled at the customer’s factory.

EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE ADVICE
We speak the language
Vessel size is only part of the project. Vacuum equipment, transfer pumps, cleaning, site handling and onsite assembly all have to work within the same plan. Talk with our San Diego team about your next mixing system.
