Rotary-die tooling
Capsule shape and size are defined by the selected die rolls. Review the tooling, ribbon setup and product handling as one process.
Softgel
Plan softgel encapsulation as a connected process: gelatin preparation, fill preparation, rotary-die encapsulation and drying. Match the tooling and system configuration to your formulation.

A CLOSER LOOK
The dosing, ribbon and tooling systems work together. These catalogue photographs show the areas to review during equipment selection.

Capsule shape and size are defined by the selected die rolls. Review the tooling, ribbon setup and product handling as one process.

The fill pump and injector wedge coordinate delivery of the liquid fill as the gelatin ribbons enter the die rolls.

The hopper provides mixing and temperature control. Confirm your formulation’s handling requirements before choosing the preparation equipment.

HOW IT WORKS
Gelatin preparation and fill preparation are parallel upstream operations. Both feed the encapsulation stage, followed by drying.
Melt, condition and hold the gelatin for ribbon formation.
Mix and hold the fill under the required conditions.
Form gelatin ribbons; dose, seal and cut with the rotary dies.
Transfer the newly formed softgels into the initial drying stage.
Plan the remaining drying and handling for your formulation.

CONFIGURATION & SELECTION
RG2-200C / CONFIGURATION REFERENCEThis is an example line configuration for selection. Preparation equipment, drying capacity and utilities are confirmed for the ordered system; the encapsulator alone does not define whole-line output.
| Line reference | RG2-200C softgel production line |
|---|---|
| Main encapsulator | RG2-200C; one tooling set in the referenced line |
| Gelatin melting | HJ-450C gelatin melting tank |
| Gelatin holding | BW-170A jacketed storage tanks |
| Fill handling | YL-200A material tanks; preparation selected separately |
| Initial drying | ZL-580B, four-section tumble-dryer group |
| US three-phase supply | 220V, 3-phase, 60Hz |
| Auxiliary utilities | Individual power, heating, cooling and drying requirements |
